This sketch may be rain soaked, but bad weather didn’t stop a wonderful crowd from standing in vigil to honor students and teachers killed by gun violence. If we're really a civilized society, we've got to value Public Safety over gun rights!
Pussy Riot
Here's a portrait of the feminist punk rock collective, Pussy Riot. This Russian band uses their music and performance to support the rights of women, immigrants, and the LGBT community. They also stand in opposition to the draconian policies of Russian President, Vladimir Putin. Signed prints of this portrait are available here!
The original pen and ink drawings was composed on a 1941 map of the Soviet Union.
Climate Change is Not Cool
I carried this hand-drawn sign in the People's Climate March over the Hudson back in April. I’m thrilled it will be included in a book, Posters for Change, published by Princeton Architectural Press. Thanks so much to the jury! (oil pastel and pencil on poster paper)

Macalester College is an excellent liberal arts school located in St. Paul, Minnesota. They asked me to illustrate a story for their alumni magazine, addressing how we as citizens can make a difference in unsettling political times.
